3 Tenderloin Style Trends for 2007

Having lived here nearly 3 years, I am pleased to make my first attempt at predicting 2007 style trends for Tenderloin inhabitants. Here we go:

1. Paper cup with rattling coins
This is not only for the downtown homeless, and still works well (in white) to provide the non-jarring rattling that will get the attention of passers-by without drowning out your friend's idle chatter.

2. Passing out on the sidewalk
Popular for many years, this activity stays strong for the things to do in the TL. Bonus points for:
A. blocking most of the sidewalk
B. still holding the bottle/can that put you over the edge
C. peeing or crapping in your pants

3. High-pitched talking using 3rd-grade English
Guaranteed to gain attention and frighten those who are unfamiliar with the technique.
