Insanely I am still purchasing UK-centric car magazines. The latest issue of CAR (with Jay-something of Jamiroqui driving the very expensive Ferrari) also features a car I like better, the Vauxhall Signum. This lovely 4-door features a very functional wagon-hatch, but with the rear seats set back like a limosine, and aircraft-style controls down the center of the ceiling. I would purchase that re-styled/badged as a Saab if GM brought it over. It's doubtful they'd do that with Vauhall.

Consider allowing the rear seats to be motorized and with button control inside and on the optional keypad/keyring, you could manouver them in different loading capacities, or remove them altogether.

End of lease issues with Saab - solved! Dealer happiness at Dirito Brothers Saab in Walnut Creek. Now making car payments on my favorite mechanical object. As an added bonus, it's soon to be the recipient of 16" Viking wheels, Yokohama tires, Eibach springs, SAS rear anti-roll bar and Saab sport exhaust. Oh boy. i have links here to scans of the Mauer article in Intersection. These were scanned big to be readable on screen. Enjoy: p1, p2, p3, p4.
