Insanely I am still purchasing UK-centric car magazines. The latest issue of CAR (with Jay-something of Jamiroqui driving the very expensive Ferrari) also features a car I like better, the Vauxhall Signum. This lovely 4-door features a very functional wagon-hatch, but with the rear seats set back like a limosine, and aircraft-style controls down the center of the ceiling. I would purchase that re-styled/badged as a Saab if GM brought it over. It's doubtful they'd do that with Vauhall.
Consider allowing the rear seats to be motorized and with button control inside and on the optional keypad/keyring, you could manouver them in different loading capacities, or remove them altogether.
